Found: 12/8/16

This will always be one of my favorite finds. I had no idea and thought this guy was a deformed monarch caterpillar at first... but I did my research and learned it's a Queen. The caterpillar is so alien looking I can't get over that. I hope to find more.

It's easy to understand why Monarchs and Queens are easily mistaken for one another! The main difference between them is the Queens brown-red color and lack of patterns on their forewings.
